The date is Saturday 9th May, and this will be happening at Liquid Club in San Gwann. Greek thrashers The Source will be joining us for this great event. The Source were in Malta last July when they were invited to perform in last year’s Extreme Maltese Metal Festival at Montekristo Wine Vaults. We met The Source in January ’08 in Athens when Knockturn Alley performed at Underworld together with Karma Violens and other supporting bands.

Formed in 2007 from the remains of Negative Creeps, now signed to I for an I Records & Media, The Source had a very busy ‘08 both in terms of shows and writing new music. In fact the band managed to put together their self-entitled debut album which was released a few months ago, while keeping a busy schedule with live performances, including a support slot to Danish giants Illdisposed. For all fans of Slayer, Kreator and At the Gates, this is definitely a band to watch out for.

Knockturn Alley album
While we have been spending a few hours a day at the studio listening to the first mixed tracks, we decided to announce the name for our debut album. The album will be entitled Medusa, and the tracklist also carries a track with the same name. More information and artwork will be released in the coming weeks.
